On the contrary; life’s every drop of blood worth living. If anything has deemed to be a worthy secular teacher, it is the world in which we live. Neither the earth, the soil nor wildlife possess the majesty of life; like the priceless existence of the human existence, and all of its separate ill’s and beauties. It’s also ironic that the blood that gives one life is every drop worth giving up in life’s struggle. We learn a great lesson, “if a seed does not die, it does not bring forth fruit”, any individual who deems he has found truth, ought to attain a certain truth with it, that such truths are only measured in sacrifice. Without it, you are yet a resounding cymbal which no man understands.
Every year, one may notice the variation in the diverse nature about us; more so our own individual lives. That regardless of persuasion, we learn, to our keenness and benefit, that life, itself is never bound, but only watching our existence to then make its statement on our ability to grasp it. And where do we find the wise one? The one we may learn from? Is not the world we walk in, the oldest witness we have of our habitation. That man is bound in his struggles always, nor is a generation ever free from battles and disturbances. Through fire and brimstone are we the creation brought, to our final stage, of purification, in which in us ought to be revealed all the mysteries of existence.
Nay, it is unwise to be afraid. Man never dies. As once was said, “old soldiers never die, they just fade away”, such is the spirit of man in this physical containment, and have we forgotten the man in flesh we might still yet be reminded of his legacy; for who has forgotten: Moses, Jesus, Napoleon, Pushkin, Washington, etc….Such entities will last for eternity, if at least in your minds; But these living have never ceased to be. They not only will live forever in our world, but they are yet still alive, in which ranks we all will soon find ourselves.
Some say, you have one life, therefore do everything you wish; but how is that to your benefit? If you wish to destroy your one and only life, by doing many perverse things, you will only cut the length of your existence. Secondly, you will fall in the ranks of the millions who have done the same, for it takes a weak man to be enslaved by his own flesh. Some may say, its not the length but quality of life, to which man should submit his energies. To such conclusions I concur. Yet, if we must speak of quality, then one must void all cheap and destructive forces in their life. Which gives even more reason to preserve yourself, to seek a higher purpose, to never cease to believe in beauty, and to always believe in hope. Once was written, “beauty will save the world”, alas, no greater beauty but the beauty of God in all his glory.
I’ve not once woken up to say, “the light keeps shining, the mind continues to function, and the day keeps coming”. I’ve not once woken up to ask myself, “how easy it is to escape life through my dream, but how much it would be better to have my life as my dreams”. Such is the thoughts of a dreamer, a manifestation of the hopeless romantic, to which I myself am. And so happily, life is at its sweetest when indeed we continue to live in revelation of its contents. There is a hope that life will never cease to amaze, and that lies in the fact that we do not yet know what lies tomorrow. Where will I be then is just as an important junction as knowing where I am today. Life is all-encompassing, because life is God’s reincarnation of himself, to which we are made as vessels that soak in all that is made. And in this inclusive vastness, there are two clear exclusives, and that is light and darkness. Man has only seen a thing, in the presence of light, and through that light we are guided through darkness to find any answers, to find any meanings worth living for. A manifestation as well, into our creation is the light of truth, in its fullest potential in God’s own flesh, his sacrifice for human existence, Jesus Christ. And in this bountiful harvest of living, we find much more than existence, but a meaning that extends far past our last breaths.
